Licensing Policy

Ceon Media provides two types of product licenses depending on the type of content which is purchased.

  • Preview content
  • Commercial content

This page provides a brief and human-friendly explanations of the license types. For full license details, please refer to the relevant license page links. In the case of conflicting information, the full license conditions will always take priority over this page.

Preview Content

Preview content (videos or images) are watermarked low-resolution previews. They allow you to test that your content is generated correctly before committing to a full-quality purchase. The preview license prohibits commercial use. However, we do allow the following use cases:

  • You may use preview videos as placeholders in your video edit or graphic design which can be shared with customers, employees, team members or clients in a private context.
  • You may include them on public platforms in non-commercial contexts, such as showing WIP (Work In Progress) projects or draft edits.
  • You may include them on public platforms which generate indirect revenue (such as generating profit via advertisements or affiliate marketing strategies), provided the purchased media content can be viewed publicly and free-of-charge by users.

It is illegal to remove the watermarks from these videos, doing so would be considered a breach of copyright.

Commercial Content

When you purchase an un-watermarked high-quality video, you receive a Ceon Media Commercial License which gives you full exclusive rights to use the video in any way you wish. Ceon Media is not responsible for your generated videos or the way in which you choose to use them. Please note that in the event of a requested and fulfilled refund, the Ceon Media Usage License is automatically revoked and any commercial usages of the digital content would be considered a breach of copyright.
